Consultation
At Aurora MedSpa in Cape Girardeau, we recognize that every client has unique cosmetic goals. Your journey begins with a personalized consultation, during which our expert injectors will discuss your aesthetic objectives and create a tailored treatment plan.
Pre-Injection
Before your injections, you'll perform various facial expressions such as smiling, frowning, and squinting. Your practitioner will identify and mark the specific areas on your face and neck that will be treated. These temporary markings guide the injection process.
Treatment
Your injector will administer the dermal fillers deep beneath your skin using a very small needle. We use fine-gauge needles and can apply a topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort. Most clients experience only minor, tolerable discomfort during the procedure.
After Your Session
A dermal filler session usually lasts between 30 and 45 minutes. After your treatment, you might experience slight redness and tenderness in the treated area, which typically fades within a day or two. The results of dermal fillers generally last from six months to two years, depending on the specific treatment and individual factors.
