Upon arriving at one of our friendly medical spa locations for your initial consultation, your provider will guide you through the specifics of the SkinVive procedure, addressing any questions you might have and providing a clear understanding of what to expect during the treatment session.

Your Treatment Appointment

At the start of your SkinVive treatment session, your provider will remove any makeup or lotion from the treatment area and prepare the injection site with an antiseptic to prevent infections. You or your provider may also decide to apply a numbing cream to ensure your complete comfort.

Once your face is prepared, your provider will inject one or more syringes into the designated sites and gradually release the hyaluronic fluid. Each injection will take approximately 15 to 60 minutes to release and settle. The entire treatment process lasts about 15 to 30 minutes, after which you can resume your normal daily activities.

Following Your SkinVive Treatment

After the fluid has settled, your provider will clean the injection site again and provide you with post-injection instructions. Following your treatment, it’s important to avoid the following for at least 24 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Exposure to sun or heat
  • Applying makeup

If you notice any bruising or swelling, you can apply an ice pack to the affected area for relief.
