When you visit one of our inviting medical spa locations for your initial consultation, your provider will guide you through the specifics of the SkinVive procedure. They will address any questions you may have and provide you with a clear understanding of what to expect during the treatment session.

Your Treatment Session

At the start of your SkinVive treatment session, your provider will remove any makeup or lotion from the treatment area and prepare the injection site with an antiseptic to prevent infection. To ensure your complete comfort, you or your provider may also decide to apply a numbing cream.

Once your face is prepped, your provider will inject one or more syringes at the designated sites, gradually releasing the hyaluronic fluid. Each injection will take approximately 15 to 60 minutes to administer and settle. The entire treatment process lasts about 15 to 30 minutes, after which you can resume your normal daily activities.

After Your SkinVive Treatment

SkinVive is a quick and straightforward outpatient procedure that allows you to return to your daily activities right after your treatment session. After the fluid has settled, your provider will clean the injection site again and provide you with post-injection care instructions. To ensure optimal results, please avoid the following for at least 24 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating
  • Alcohol consumption

  • Applying makeup

If you experience any bruising or swelling, applying an ice pack to the affected area can help alleviate discomfort.
