What You Need to Know

Procedure Time

Depending on your specific targeted treatment area(s), BBL treatments take between 15 to 20 minutes to complete. Several sessions are required for a full-face treatment.

Side Effects & Recovery Times

Following your procedure, you may experience mild to moderate redness, which lasts 1 to 3 days. The pigment in your targeted treatment area(s) will also turn darker over the next 48 hours, however skin will naturally exfoliate (or flake off) within 1 week.

Results

Most of our clients experience results immediately. These results continue to maximize over the next 2 weeks. While results are temporary, they can last months and even years after you reach your complexion goal. For maximum results, we recommend at least 2 to 3 treatments spaced at least one month apart.

What To Expect During Your Visit?

  • Consultation: Similar to other medical procedures, your provider will take time before your session to discuss your problem areas, as well as your medical history, to ensure BBL Photo Facial treatments are the right option for you. They will also determine how many treatments you need to achieve the best results. Your provider may also take photos of the area(s) receiving treatment. These photos will be used to show your before and after transformation!
  • Treatment: Your provider will clean and prep your treatment area(s). They will also apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort during your procedure. Once your treatment area is prepared, your provider will move their laser over the skin in a grid-like pattern, flashing the light about every centimeter. Depending on your specific needs, your provider may need to go over your treatment area multiple times.
  • Post-Treatment: Following your BBL treatment, your provider will clean your skin. Although photo facials typically do not require any downtime, you may experience mild to moderate redness. However, you can apply your makeup right away (if you choose to do so). We also recommend you avoid exposure to the sun for at least a week after your session and be sure to apply sunscreen regularly.

How do BBL Photo Facials Work?

BBL photo facials work by targeting a beam of light to your specific treatment area(s), such as enlarged brown spots or large blood vessels. Using a series of multiple light wavelengths, BBL photo facials remove the abnormalities throughout your face without causing damage or scarring. Best of all, BBL treatments work to stimulate your natural collagen production to tighten the tissue surrounding your treatment area(s). BBL laser treatments work by gently penetrating the top layers of your skin to eliminate the underlying pigment and vessels causing damage to your skin. Unlike other treatments, such as chemical peels that remove an outer layer of skin and require significant healing time, the outer skin itself is not damaged, resulting in a significantly reduced healing process.

What are the benefits of BBL treatments?

BBL facials use a broad spectrum of multiple light wavelengths to help individuals of all ages to achieve fresh, smooth, and vibrant skin tone and texture.
