What Does Dysport Treat?

Your cosmetic journey at Aurora Medical Spa will begin with an in-person consultation. During this consultation, your expert practitioner will get to know you and learn about the cosmetic goals that brought you to us. They’ll help you understand everything you might want to know about Kybella and what it can do for you.

This injectable treatment was specifically formulated for moderate to severe glabellar lines and short vertical lines between the eyebrows, and we’ll collaborate with you on the creation of a custom treatment plan that sees your deepest cosmetic goals becoming a lasting reality.

Your Treatment Experience

To begin your treatment session, your provider will prepare the specific amount of Dysport to be injected and also offer to apply a topical anesthetic. This enables us to minimize your discomfort during the treatment session so you can enjoy as pleasant an experience as possible.

Pre-Injection

Once your Dysport injections are ready, a registered nurse will ask you to perform a range of facial movements, observing your facial expressions as you do so and noting the specific lines, folds, or wrinkles you’re most interested in addressing. Once this is complete, they’ll create your injection pattern and begin the treatment session.

Dysport Injections

During your session, your injector will use a small needle to inject the Dysport according to your customized treatment pattern. Depending on the specifics of your treatment plan, your Dysport session will likely only last between 10 to 20 minutes.

Post-Treatment

After your injections, we recommend taking a break from exercising and taking care not to lie down for about four hours. It’ll also be best to avoid UV exposure for one to two weeks, as well. Slight swelling and redness may be present but will only last for about 15 minutes. Some clients experience bruising that can last for up to two to seven days.

Your Results

After your Dysport treatment session, you’ll start to notice your results taking shape within one to two days, with your results continuing to finalize over the course of the next two weeks. While results vary, many clients find that their Dysport results last for up to five full months!
