Starting Your Cosmetic Journey Your Initial Consultation

When you arrive at one of our welcoming medical spa locations for your initial consultation, your provider will walk you through the details of the SkinVive procedure, answering any questions you may have and giving you a clear idea of what you can expect during the treatment session.

Your Treatment Session

At the beginning of your SkinVive treatment sesison, your provider will clear all makeup or lotion away from the treatment area before prepping the injection site using an antiseptic to combat any infections. You or your provider may choose to also apply a numbing cream to the site as well, as it’s always our goal to ensure your total comfort.

After your face is prepped, your provider will inject one or more syringes into their injection sites and slowly release the hyaluronic fluid. Each injection will take between 15 and 60 minutes to release and settle. The entire treatment takes about 15 to 30 minutes to complete, at which point you’ll be able to return to your normal daily activities.

After Your SkinVive Treatment

Minor Recovery

Skinvive is a quick and easy outpatient procedure, meaning you will be able to return to your normal life as soon as your treatment session is over. You may experience minor bruising, tingling, or temporary numbness near injection the site, but these issues are temporary and will fade away relatively quickly. 

Exciting Results

After your treatment, you can expect to notice markedly smoother skin in your cheeks, with increased hydration and an enhanced glow in the treatment area. Most of our clients are able to enjoy their exciting results immediately, and most SkinVive results last for as long as six months before a follow-up is needed.

Once the fluid has settled, your provider will once again clean off the injection site and update you on your post-injection directions. Following your treatment, you should avoid the following for at least 24 hours:

  • Strenuous exercise or any other activity that would result in extensive sweating
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Sun or heat exposure
  • Application of makeup

If you are experiencing any bruising or swelling, you can use an ice pack to alleviate the affected area.

How many treatments will I need?
