Once the fluid has settled, your provider will once again clean off the injection site and update you on your post-injection directions. Following your treatment, you should avoid the following for at least 24 hours:
- Strenuous exercise or any other activity that would result in extensive sweating
- Alcoholic beverages
- Sun or heat exposure
- Application of makeup
If you are experiencing any bruising or swelling, you can use an ice pack to alleviate the affected area.

How many treatments will I need?
